It's "FrigGuiAllienSharamDamntastik"

I know I've kind of been a blogger about blogs lately but I couldn't pass this one up. For anyone looking for a good source of electro-variety that is very consistent and appellant to all sorts of tastes check out my new friends over at DJ Set. What they lack in pertinent detail about a particular artist's interests or influences, like say Resident Advisor or Electronic Austin, they make up for in sheer quantity and accessibility of their art.

Not to sound too infomercialish, but you can definitely relate to that feeling, of how when you can't wait to hop on your bike or in your car and ride to work knowing full well the day's-worth of new music you will soon experience, accumulated over the course of 2 or 3 hours the evening previous. Yeah well, now that's everyday and with little effort, granted you enjoy many of the electronic artists currently circulating.

I'm posting three sets from three artists you probably have already heard before, all trans-dance minimal for the most part, but a good testament to the kind of stuff you could check out on the DJ Set blog (I hope Dance Department Radio doesn't mind me passing the word). They've also posted a plethora of diverse sets showcasing the likes of MSTRKRFT, Justice, Ritchie Hawtin, Joey Beltram, Carl Cox, John Acquaviva, Matthew Hoag, Four Tet, Danny Howells and 16 Bit Lolitas. And that's just the past few days. Now you can hear droney digi-dancehall tracks daily instead of waiting all week for that RA podcast (I still love you RA). Anyway, berry enjoy the sweet:

Tiny Demons (Fucking OWWWW!)

DISCLAIMER: I must apologize beforehand for being a tad-bit too personal, but writing about it helps my nerves.

I know I havn't written in a while but I felt tonight finally warranted a worthy post. If anyone has ever experienced the nightmare that is a kidney stone then you know what I am going through right now. Having just returned from the ER with a new found respect for the human condition, I begin to prepare for the longest two days of my life. I now get to await the unnanounced arrival of my freshly-calcified demon baby. Though I expect the torturing anticipation will heavily outbufden the the actual birth, I have idiotically sought the council of too many experts who apparently have no trouble describing the sheer agony of my inevitable passing.

Also, did I mention that I am a perfectly consciable and relatively fit 23-year old avid health-nut and not a 52-year old ulcer-plagued, alcoholic claims adjuster who consumes copious amounts of Pepto-Bismal, coffee and Marlboro Reds like they were oxygen (no one particular BTW). What the fuck! I would imagine that its Wikipedia time.

Oh Well, I guess it could be worse. I now have ample amounts of Vicodin and Flonaze(ureter expander) to get me through the next week. Also, I could use a couple days off work in order to catch up on some light reading and music research. Maybe I'll catch a show in downtown Austin as well, given that my jagged little buddy decides to stay idle for a while. In any case, I tried to theme a few tracks in this post that I've been kicking around for awhile, that seemingly work well for either passing some time or passing some rocks. Enjoy.

Arab Strap - Fucking Little Bastards
Justin Bond And the Hungry March Band - In the End
Honey Claws - Grapefruit (Or So it Feels Like)
Animal Collective - Baby Day
The Modern Lovers - Hospital
Testicular Manslaughter - Sun Fades the Shades

Again, I apologize (but Vicoden does breed sincerity)
